Minotrade eCommerce, Logistics & Wholesale Operations

minotrade AG · Jan 2025 – Apr 2026

Broad COO ownership across trading, four digital B2B/B2C marketplaces, the Glattzentrum POS/store operation, logistics, RMA, product data, suppliers, and wholesale execution—including board dashboards, autonomous workflows, FIFO control, and retail-team transformation.

Leadership mandate

  • Led the operating model connecting global trading, logistics, eCommerce, retail, suppliers, and channel partners.
  • Held management responsibility for the PETKIT, UREVO, Xiaomi Switzerland, and Gadget Store online marketplaces, physical POS operations, and the Mi flagship store.
  • Rebuilt the Glattzentrum store team and introduced a dedicated store-manager role while overseeing connected B2B and B2C operations.
  • Directed digitalisation priorities for logistics and RMA operations.
  • Coordinated commercial, technology, customer-experience, and operational improvement initiatives.

Hands-on technology scope

  • Shaped an AI-supported trading-stack strategy for product, pricing, logistics, and commercial decisions.
  • Implemented a fully digital, autonomous return-material-authorisation workflow: scanning a barcode or QR code registered each return, product-image capture documented its condition, and the system generated the corresponding report automatically.
  • Implemented FIFO inventory control across logistics and integrated inventory handling with physical point-of-sale operations.
  • Consolidated operating and commercial data from four eCommerce websites into board and C-level dashboards for pricing, sales, and operating decisions.
  • Fully digitalised and managed the PETKIT, UREVO, Xiaomi Switzerland, and Gadget Store B2B/B2C online marketplaces alongside physical point-of-sale systems and the Mi flagship store.
  • Fully digitalised the Glattzentrum POS operation and introduced weekly smartphone-based inventory counts for faster, more reliable stock control.
  • Implemented autonomous EAN-based article matching and product-master-data capture: online lookup populated height, width, depth, weight, battery-inclusion status, and other product attributes.
