This website is a personal professional profile with a non-binding enquiry form. No contracts are concluded and no payments are processed through the website.

Hosting, delivery and technical logs

The website is hosted by Vercel and delivered and protected through Cloudflare. Technically necessary data such as IP address, time, requested URL, browser information and security events may be processed in server and security logs.

This processing supports the secure, stable and efficient delivery of the website. Providers may process data in several countries using their contractual and statutory transfer mechanisms.

Language and appearance

• The selected language is stored in the “site-locale” cookie for up to one year.
• The light or dark appearance preference is stored locally in the browser as “andree-welker-theme” until changed or deleted there.
• These settings serve the presentation requested by the visitor and are not used for advertising or profiling.

Contact form

An enquiry processes the visitor’s name, email address, optional organisation, mandate type, optional role focus, optional decision timeline and message. The information is used only to assess and answer the enquiry and for possible pre-contractual communication.

Messages are delivered through Resend to the designated email inbox. The website does not maintain its own contact database. Enquiries are generally deleted within twelve months after completion unless active communication or a statutory or contractual retention need justifies longer storage.

No visitor analytics

No client-side web analytics or advertising service is currently enabled. Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools provide only aggregated search-discovery information and do not identify individual website visitors.

Recipients and external links

Data is provided only to service providers required for hosting, security and message delivery. External links, including LinkedIn, ORCID, CERN and publication pages, are governed by the privacy terms of the respective provider when opened.

Rights and contact

Subject to applicable law, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, data delivery or object to processing. Requests should be sent to [email protected].

Depending on residence, individuals may also have the right to complain to a competent data-protection authority. This notice will be updated when the actual processing changes.
