Technology leadership for a privacy-preserving mobility platform combining automated transport-mode recognition, CO₂-avoidance calculation, blockchain-based rewards, and enterprise Scope 3 reporting.

Leadership mandate

  • →Led software development and overall technology strategy as CTO.
  • →Built and developed a multidisciplinary team spanning AI, blockchain, mobile, backend, cloud, design, and delivery.
  • →Directed platform, data, governance, security, and technology-partnership work across consumer and enterprise products, ensuring FINMA compliance and integrating KYC/AML verification flows.

Hands-on technology scope

  • →Led the ML platform strategy for automatic transport-mode recognition using mobile telemetry such as GPS, velocity, and acceleration.
  • →Directed the integration of iOS and Android applications, backend systems, privacy-preserving data handling, business dashboards, and blockchain reward flows.
  • →Led the design of a Proof-of-Sustainability approach combining validated commuting data, CO₂-avoidance calculation, simulator-resistance controls, and smart-contract-based token rewards.

Selected outcomes

Transport-mode recognition

Codos publicly describes automated recognition of walking, cycling, driving, e-scooters, public transit, e-cars, and carpooling.

Internal ML performance

Achieved an F1 score of 97% for transport-mode recognition.

Privacy and reporting

The platform publicly describes pseudonymised telemetry, anonymised aggregate data, and automated Scope 3 reporting for organisations.

Blockchain rewards

Codos publicly documents a non-custodial wallet, smart-contract-based Codos Tokens, and blockchain-recorded token transfers.

Reward-integrity controls

Implemented validation and anti-fraud controls intended to reduce simulator-based false mobility claims before token rewards are issued; no system should be represented as impossible to attack.
